The Enhancement.

The Enhancement Detail is perfect for those looking to enhance their paintwork by removing micro marring, holograms and some swirls by machine polishing. If you've just acquired a brand new car, its most likely in need of an Enhancement Detail. This is the most popular option for a typical new car as most of the time it's not necessary to complete a full paint correction.

In Joe Huntley's 15+ years of wide ranging experience, he has only ever encountered two manufacturers that provide as close to 'perfect' paintwork as possible. Bugatti and Roll Royce. For the rest, The Enhancement Detail is ideal for bringing the paintwork back to its full potential . 

Although it may seem like a wide range, this service aims to remove between 50-70% of in-surface defects. This will include micro marring from previous dual action polishers, holograms from rotary polishers and the dreaded swirl marks. 

The reason it ranges between 50-70% is because no two paint jobs are the same. Clear coat hardness is a main dictator as well as previous repairs. 

What can't be removed during The Enhancement Detail?

Heavier swirl marks in harder paint types, RIDS (random isolated deep scratches) and sanding marks. If your paintwork is suffering any of these then it's recommend you step up to the Correction Detail. 

The Enhancement Detail is normally finished with a synthetic paint sealant or carnauba wax (customer/car dependant). However many opt to go one step further and add a ceramic coating. 

 

This treatment includes the following:

• The vehicle jacked up on each corner to gain full access to the wheel arches

• All wheel arches, wheels and tyres deep cleaned and tar deposits removed

• Door shuts and fuel filler cap all cleaned with any dirt and grease removed

• A multi stage pre-wash (vehicle rinsed, lowers cleansed, snow foam applied, cracks and crevices agitated, and the vehicle fully rinsed)

• All surfaces cleansed with the two bucket method and ultra safe wash media

• Ferrous metal contamination removed with iron fallout remover

• Road Tar deposits and tree sap removed with a tar and glue remover

• Mechanical decontamination completed with a clay bar to remove any leftover contamination leaving the paint feeling silky smooth

• All painted surfaces including piano Black exterior trims such as B pillars machine polished. This process depends on the vehicle and paint type. A test section will be done to ensure the best combination of polish and pad is aligned to your vehicle

• A single layer of high-grade T1 Carnauba wax or a synthetic polymer paint sealant applied to the whole vehicle, offering 3 to 8 months protection. The wax option will last between 3-4 months  and exude a warm glow whereas the sealant will deliver a more clinical look and offering 6-8 months of protection

• Wheel arches and tyres both dressed in non-silicone dressing, leaving a factory fresh appearance

• All interior surfaces are vacuumed and wiped down with any isolated stains and dirt spots addressed

• Steering wheel and gear knob will be deep cleaned, removing any traces of contamination, hand grease and body oils

• All glass surfaces cleaned to a lint-free finish
